This new schema version effective date is scheduled for February 7, 2009 and
efforts should be made to implement by that date. You will have to change the
.zzz to .zip extension to open the zip file after downloading.

Web Service Implementation
These documents contain information for states that choose to implement a web
service for receiving SERs, Payments, and Information Reports. CSPs or sellers
may then use or implement a web service client to communicate with the state's
web service and transmit the data.
NOTE: These are under TIGERS Group version control, and
are NOT FINAL. Changes may be made based on experience in implementation,
so check the TIGERS listserve (to sign up go to: http://www.taxadmin.org/fta/edi/listserv.html )
and in this location for updated information.

The
following changes were made:
1. Added a TransmitterId parameter
to the Ack and LastAck operations.
This provides an alternative mechanism for state systems that are unable
to access the SOAP security header. Clients are still expected to send
the security header and should also send the new TransmitterId
parameter.
2. Added a Message parameter to the Ping operation. This is for
private use by the states. It is very useful to use in conjunction with
site monitoring to perform a system status check based on some private
Message string.
